Hi everyone, it’s Missy here from the Giftogram product team. Today I’m going to run you through a few key features of your Giftogram account. We’ll cover the basics like how to order and send a Giftogram, how to add funds to your account, how to add recipients to your account, and how to customize your brand settings, so each Giftogram includes your company logo and colors. 

Before we login and get started, i’d like to quickly remind everyone what a Giftogram is and how it’s redeemed. Giftogram is one gift card that can be redeemed for any retailer gift card available in the recipients country. 

In this example, the recipient received a digital Giftogram via email from their manager. As you’ll see, the company logo is displayed at the top of the email and below that, you’ll see the Giftogram gift card design they chose for the occasion. They’ve even included a personalized message. Down here you’ll see the Giftogram code. This is the unique code, the recipient will use to redeem their gift.

So now that they have their unique code, the recipient will simply click the button to visit the redemption website, enter the code and select their gift card. We offer hundreds of options in multiple currencies from top brands everyone loves. Once they find a gift card they’d  like to redeem, they will “check out” by following the steps on screen to confirm their selection. All of our gift cards are digital and are available immediately on the screen after check out.  They can be saved in the retailer specific app or on the recipients mobile device for use in-store. We’ll also send your recipient a confirmation email once they’ve made their selection so they can re-access their gift card at any time. 

Now that we understand how to receive a Giftogram, let’s log into our account and learn how to send a Giftogram.

Once you arrive in your Giftogram account, you’ll land on your dashboard, which displays a quick overview of your recent activity as well as the available balances for you and your team. 

Many customers prefer to pre-fund their account by depositing funds in advance. To deposit funds simply click on the Wallet icon and enter the amount and deposit method for your payment. Once approved, funds are available in 1-3 business days, depending on the deposit method selected. 

You will receive a confirmation email once your funds have been added. 

If you prefer to pay as you go, you will also have the option to add a payment method at check out.

To begin the order process, let’s head over to the create and send section of our Giftogram account. 

You’ll notice a campaign selected called “default campaign”.  Campaigns are used to save specific settings for your gifting program. All accounts come with a default campaign. As you get to know your Giftogram account you may want to create separate campaigns for different types of programs, including ones with custom gift card catalogs, international currencies and gifting automations for key dates and enrollments. 

For now, will stick with our default campaign to send our first Giftogram. 

Here you will see a list of gifting categories with premade designs  for all sorts of occasions.

If you’d prefer to create your own design, simply hit the “creative a design” button, to use our custom card builder. 

All of your custom designs are saved in your account to reuse at any time.

Once you’ve selected a design, next, you will select the delivery method. We offer Giftogram delivery in the form of an email or on a physical plastic card with an optional matching greeting card. 

For this demo, we will select Email as the delivery method. The currency and gift card Catalog are set at a campaign level, and can be customized by editing this campaign. You may also customize this design if there are any elements you would like to edit before check out. 

Next, you’ll select the recipients for your send. You can add recipients individually by simply typing their name and email address here or you can send to a saved group of contacts or upload a CSV. 


It is not required that you save recipients to your account before your send, but it’s a great way to stay organized if you’re sending to the same individuals regularly. Organizing the recipients by groups is also a great way to save time and send gifts for specific departments, locations, teams and more.

Once you selected your recipients, you can personalize your Giftogram with a custom message. As you begin to use your Giftogram account more regularly, you may decide to save messages to reuse later. 

You can preview the Giftogram email here to see how this would look in your recipients inbox. 

The brand settings for this Giftogram including your logo, are defined in your “settings and preferences” section of your account. If you would like to include your company logo in your send, make sure these settings are defined before you place your order.

Once you’re happy with your message, select the payment method for this order. If you’ve pre-funded your account, you can select to apply your balance to this order. You will also find options to pay at the point of purchase, depending on your account settings. Credit cards may not be available for all account types. Please speak with your with your Giftogram account manager to learn more. 

Once your payment method is selected, you have the option to enter notes or reference numbers for this order. Any notes you leave here will appear on your order receipt. 

Finally, select when you would like your Giftogram sent. You can send today, or schedule it for a time in the future. Giftogram’s that are sent today will be processed and sent within approximately two hours. 

Once your Giftogram has been scheduled, it will be available in your digital order history. From this page, you can view all of your orders and view their current status. Click into any individual order to download an invoice or cancel an order before it is sent.

In addition to your order history, you’ll also find your balance history from the Wallet icon in the upper navigation. This page provides a full ledger of all balance history within your account, including orders, deposits, and transfers between team members. 

Finally, I would like to show you some quick settings and preferences for your Giftogram account. Click on the Settings icon in the upper right hand corner of your account. Here you will see individual settings to secure your account and receive notifications as well as settings to invite fellow users to your Giftogram team. 

In addition, you’ll find digital gift settings to upload your logo, save messages for the future and customize sender names.

Admin settings will allow you to restrict permissions for all users within your organization, including defining the available currencies.

Giftogram includes many simple features to help execute all of your gifting needs. In addition to what I’ve showed you here today we have many tips and tricks for staying organized within large teams, using automations, and even setting up custom integrations with software you use the most.
