Understanding user roles

Assigning roles allows you to set the level of access each user has. Below are the roles available for your users.

  • Super Admin: Top-level users who have access to the account Admin Settings, which are global account settings. You can learn more about Admin Settings here. In addition to these settings, Super Admins have the same abilities as Team Admins.

  • Team Admin: Admin users can create campaigns, save recipients, manage team members, and view reports for their team. They can also manage payment methods and deposit funds, so long as the account and team settings allow.

  • Gift Only: Gifting users can only send gifts and must use campaigns and payment methods that are made available to them. These users have visibility only to their own history and cannot view the activity of others within their team.

  • Reports Only: Reporting users can only pull reports and do not have access to sending gifts or making other changes to the account.

How to invite new users

  • Click Invite Users on the top right of the Manage Users section in your account settings.

  • Select how you'd like to send your invite:

    • Invite by Email: Manually add an email address and select the user's role before adding them to the invite list. This method is quick and easy to use to add up to a handful of users with different roles.

    • Generate Invite Link: Select a role and generate a link you can share with anyone you'd like to add to your account. Invite links expire five days from when they are created. You can expire a link early from the Pending Invites section of the Manage Users page.

    • Upload CSV: This is the most secure way to send invites in bulk. Each user will receive an invite to their email. Download our CSV template here: Giftogram_Members_Template.csv

Note: If the user you are inviting already has a Giftogram account, they will not be able to accept your invite. Please contact our Customer Support for assistance with merging your accounts.
